action;

[A frown flickers across Alistair's face at the mention of Uldred and what the man unleashed at the Circle. He'd be more surprised if that didn't make one of the surviving templars just a bit on edge around all mages, reasonable or not. But if it was followed up by someone who didn't sound like he'd been to Ferelden at all saying the same things, the accusations gain a lot more weight. And yet when he hears just what Anders has been accused of-]

But you're not. I think I'd know if you were an abomination. They don't exactly blend in. [But Fenris, like most everyone else, is from years after the Blight.... So Anders isn't an abomination now but he could become one? Alistair shakes his head firmly and leans further forward, expression determined.]

Just because he thinks you're going to become one doesn't mean it has to be true. We just need to know how you got possessed and make sure it doesn't happen. Then you'll be fine.

[If Anders doesn't get possessed then he won't hurt innocent people. Granted, it won't exactly be that simple - Wonderland, memories blah blah - but they're talking about Anders, a friend, a fellow Warden and a decent person being possessed and used by a demon. If it's not worth trying for that then when will it be worth trying? (Besides when there's worse for everyone in store but that's just another reason to make it work.)]

And if that did- could happen, it wouldn't really be you hurting anyone. It would be the demon.

[That's been the case for all the other abominations he's encountered - the terrible things they do are all the actions of the demon. Even in Connor's case, where he'd still been there inside while the demon controlled him, he hadn't been the one responsible for the terrible things that happened at Redcliffe.]

So if there's no demon no one gets hurt.
